img_4340Last October I got Charlotte Tilbury’s Goddess Skin Clay Mask I know quite a mouthful, for mom. But I tried it out because mom and I share our masks, especially the ones which suites all skin types. Mom has very dry skin, unlike my oil/combo/can’t decide it’s f***ing mind skin. I was the first one to try it out between us. It was true love at first use and I am not even exaggerating. It’s expensive, but I am happy to sell my soul to the Satan for this beauty.

It’s a Clay/Mud Mask thus works very similarly like any other mud masks. But the difference to any normal mud mask that I felt was it didn’t dry out my skin like it feels very tight and uneasy. Rather, it leaves your skin feeling moisturised, dewy and glowing while tightening your pores and softening your fine lines.

Very pretty Rose Gold lid and lettering. Looks beautiful in the Vanity.

How do you apply it?

As per the website:

STEP 1: For dramatically smoother, baby soft, purified skin, apply a generous layer of my revolutionary Goddess Skin Clay Mask across the entire face avoiding the delicate eye area. Use the wonder workout massage technique to apply the product from the centre of the face in outward sweeping motions towards the hair line and neck.

Wonder Workout Massage Link.img_4341

STEP 2: Leave and relax for 10 minutes. I leave it 15-20 mins. I feel it works better for my oily/combo skin.

STEP 3: Rinse off using lukewarm water or flannel to reveal the brand new baby skin. It’s true my skin does feel baby soft. I would say it looks better the next day.

It has a very calm, soothing spa like smell. Relaxs the facial muscles and helps with my stress.

How long does it last?

So far I have used it 7-8 times and it feels like I haven’t used much. I feel it will last for good 6 months or more.

Price? UK- £45

India – Not available in India.

Where can you buy it from?

U.K. –  You can get hold of it from and stores, selected Fenwick, Charlotte

India – Like many other amazing brands CT products are not available in India. If you are planning to get it, then go for Shopandbox they help you with your abroad purchases. But it adds up to be very expensive.

If you have more questions regarding this, feel free to ask. Hope you guys are having a great day.

Lets talk some Boobs! MyHack! Alternative to Lush’s Lovely Jubblies!

Umm let’s talk about Boobs shall we!?

Recently I did a blogpost about my empties. Lush’s Lovely Jubblies was featured as one of the empties and many of you were very curious and wanted me to do review on it. Unfortunately, Lovely Jubblies is no longer with us. Lush has decided to wave goodbye to it. But nevertheless I wanted to tell you all about the my personal hack/alternative boob care option.

In this blogpost we will all get up close and personal. If you don’t like boobs then this post isn’t for you. But if you do and like to take care of them, then keep on reading.

I will give a little insight to my boob story. I always had medium/average sized boobs nothing too small or too big. And I never really had any issues about it either. As puberty hit me, boobs became a part of my life which I, never fully understood or even cared about.img_4496

But when I shifted to UK. I became a free eater meaning I would eat just anything, like without thinking of the conscience of getting fat. I gained 7 kilos in a year and that gave me some boob fat. Yes boobs are made of fat cells. I know, very attractive. Anyways after gaining so much weight, one day I noticed that I started to get stretch marks around my boob area. It was an OMG moment for me. And after a few days I also noticed that my boobs have lost it’s elasticity, like it’s not firm like it used to be. And I had firm perky boobs. This scared the crap out of me. I was no way going to have this in the prime of my youth. It was a big no no for me was not ready to accept it. Not at all.

So the whole concept of taking care of my boobs came when I was going through this situation. The amazing Lovely Jubblies breast cream was recommended to me by a sales lady in Lush UK, when I told her about my boobs concern. She told me that she loves it for her boobs. I thought of giving it a try. I used it religiously everyday for 2 months and loved the outcome of it and kept using it till they killed it off. Just when you have found your one true perfect boob cream Lush decided to chuck it. I mean thats just mean, cruel and not fair. So this following Hack/Dupe thingy I have been using for the past 2 months or so as I have finished my tub of loveliness. And it’s working perfectly fine.

Hack for Lush’s Lovely Jubblies:

Ahh this where my hack comes in. Since it has been killed off which is just urgh!!  But you still want to take care of your boobs and have similar effects. Then just apply any serum that doesn’t work for your skin or got little old or was a bad impulse buy which doesn’t work for your skin (you know we all have one, it’s not just me okay!!). Just use it for your boobs. It works wonders. I have been using BodyShop’s Vitamin E Moisture Serum  which my mom disliked for her face and didn’t use. So I decided to use up and see if it works or not, because I didn’t wanted to waste it. I felt, it gives similar results. I have tried and tested it, when my cream was finished. I use a pea size amount of the serum for both of my boobs. Warm it up between the palms of my hands and give a circular massage to my boobs. After using the serum for several weeks now, I realised this works very similar to the cream. I mean it’s not the exact thing but it’s better to apply something than be sorry.

As you all know as we grow old, like everything else our boobs gets saggy too. To keep them looking healthy, perky and it’s elasticity for long this hack is the best I have found so far. And if you too want to show your boobs some love as they deserve it try this hack. And thank me later. Like seriously I mean it, you really would. This is my Holy Grail hake. No jokes here.

And Lush, please if you are reading get Lovely Jubblies back, our boobs need it, atleast mine does!!!

Let me know what do you do to take care of your lovelies!

Take care of yourself.
Love. XOXO.

As a tween I had very bad dark circles, cause I was a nerd and also used to suffer a lot from some illness or the other. That gave me really bad dark under eye circles and sunken eyes. Then when I was in my
late teens I had on and off light-darkness under my eyes, which I got rid of completely while using Clinique’s Dark Eyes Corrector. But they were never completely gone, I was happy with the results, no complaints as such.FullSizeRender-4

This October, I was diagnosed with Dengue which totally messed up my skin, especially my under-eye area. I again had those dark sunken under eyes. And my previous eye cream couldn’t handle it. Then my hunt for a new anti dark circles eye cream began. And I stumbled upon Shiseido’s Eye cream. The first time I used it the next  day I felt a difference. Nothing major, but still it felt brighter. I thought may be it’s all in my head. Then after using it religiously for next 3 weeks or so, I was like wait a minute my under eye area doesn’t look that bad. As I continued using it for two more weeks and now I can proudly say I have no dark circles! It’s like a magic eraser for my dark circles. My mom who has worse dark circles than me said she felt a major difference as me and I can say it has reduced so so much on her. She absolutely loves it. She though, has only used it for 2 weeks now and will continue with it.

How do you use it?

  •  I use it twice, day and night.
  • Take 1/3 of a pea size amount (depends how small/large your eyes are) with the spatula given with the cream. This is normally the amount I use.
  • Warm it up between your ring fingers and pat it lightly as a C; starting from your inner under eyes, to the eyebrow bone area. Whatever is left dab it lightly one the rest of your eyes.
  • Do not rub it in. That’s bad. Just don’t.

Price? FullSizeRender-3
It’s bloody £55 in U.K. (which is where I bought it). Such a rip off because when I went to the Shishedo counter in Kolkata (India), it was ₹3000. It pissed me off so much. But I bought a back up just in case.
Where can you buy it?

U.K. – Debenhams, John Lewis, Boots, Harrods, House of Fraser, Feel, Space NK, Harvey Nichols and which is where I bought mine😡😡😡!!).

India – Shopper’s Stop (this has the best price to buy it from), Flipkart and Amazon( both have increased the price way too much, but if you are in need of it then you can buy it from there).

Awkward Tip: Remember the skin around the eyes is very thin and fragile. Please don’t rub your eyes with force. It gives you premature fine lines following with wrinkles. Now who wants that! So don’t do that!!! Be polite to yourself it’s nice!

Hope you guys are having a great Sunday Funday!

Love. XOXO

Favourite Lip Stuff of 2015!

Recently I wrote a blog post on my Makeup Favourites of 2015. Check that out if you haven’t already!! I didn’t include the lippies there, as the blog post would have got too long to read. And like most of us nobody has time for reading long rants about stuff! It gets boring to read and also to write. So I decided why not seperate these in two posts.

Here comes the list of Lippies:

  1. Maccosmetic’s Retro Matte in All Fired Up– It’s a beautiful colour. Bright, vibrant pop of colour on your lips. Makes me look so alive. Looks great on most skin tones. But I feel in my opinion that get looks very bright on darker skin tons. It’s a Pinkish with little bit neon ish Deep Red.IMG_3841.PNG
  2. Maccosmetic’s Retro Matte in Flat Out Fabulous – Bought this on later half of the year and feel in love. Such a beautiful and different colour to describe. Is it a pink or a purple or a mauve! God knows!! Long lasting and also doesn’t dry out my lips like other retro formulas.
  3. Maccosmetic’s Lip Liner in Soar – The only Lip Liner I bought and wore this year. It became a sensational because of the infamous Kylie Jenner. And it was sold out everywhere. Because it was so hyped I became very curious about it. So I admit here, I went to 5 different Mac stores in 4 cities to find this one. And finally got hold of the last piece in Mumbai International Airport. Now back to the colour it’s a beautiful pinky nude which I love to wear it on it’s own. Also it’s worth the hype.
  4. Nar’s Matte Lip pencil in Cruella – A true Red on me. How much I wished I got this earlier. Lovely colour and texture. Not like the uncomfortable matte lipsticks. Not too long lasting though but I don’t mind that. It does makes me feel very confident.img_3831
  5. Nar’s Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Vita – Beautiful Nude that actually doesn’t look make me look dead. Very pretty colour, has a orangish tone mixed with brown thus makes it very wearable. Not very pigmented like the others. I pretty much have the whole Dolce Vita range by Nars. Looks beautiful paired with it’s sister gloss.
  6. Nar’s Matte Lip Pencil in Damned – Its a beautiful plum /berry colour. Perfect for winter and all year round. Good pigmentation. Very lady like. I would say makes me feel bit grown up. Long lasting and leaves a nice tint.
  7. Nars Christopher Kane Lip Gloss in Mezmer – It’s a sheer watermelon colour. Though from the packaging it may seem very bold. It doesn’t come off like that. Its the only gloss that I have used pretty much this year and am not a gloss kinda gal. But this one I particularly loved because it’s non sticky, gives a beautiful super glossy finish. Once the gloss goes off it leaves a beautiful stain on your lips. Also this gloss adapts to your warmth of your lips and customises the colour. So even on pigmented lips like mine it looks great.IMG_3838.PNG
  8.  Ciate’s Liquid Velvet Matte Lipstick in Pin Up – I was late to join the bandwagon of Matte Liquid Lipsticks which were a major hit realise of 2015! And Oh My Gosh It’s so good. I just loved it!! A mauvy pinky nude that’s matte and stays long even after I finish a meal. I couldn’t ask for more.
  9. Revlon’s Matte Lip Balm in Sultry – If theres any one lippy stuff that I have used the most and that is this one. It’s my go to lip colour when I feel nothing looks good on me. It  looks great with smokey or glittery or plain just lippy look. I cannot rave more about it. If you ask me which one you should get out of these. Then I would say you have to try this one out! This is a winner!

P.S. My swatches don’t do justice to these lippies. I know I am bad at it. I would say do check it out in the stores if you are interested in these. Also let me know if you know any of these and your favourite lippies of 2015!!

May we all be blessed with more amazing lippy stuff this New Years!! Have a lovely day/night my lovelies.

See ya in the next post. Till then make sure no lipstick mark is there on your teeth. LOL. xx

2015 Beauty Favourites!

It’s 2016 but we have some unfinished business with 2015!

I decided to do a 2015 Favourites instead of doing just December favourites, as I would be repeating some of them. Also, I had to do a seperate lipsticks favourites as I have too many and it would a very long blog post. So lets get to it. IMG_3611.JPG

  1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette Bought it on the later half of the year and fell in love. It has six powders and all of these are beautiful. Bit pricey, but you need just a little as its very pigmented and will last for long. Have used it almost every time I did my makeup. I would say go and get it if you it is in stock because its Limited Edition.FullSizeRender-1
  2. Maccosmetic’s Face and Body Foundation Gosh its one of best foundation I have tried on my skin, which works in humidity (as I live one third of the year in India) as well as in the UK (super cold and dry) and gives me a flawless finish. It makes my skin look so good that it makes me happy from within. Plus its waterproof! So rainy season is sorted! Hell YEAH!!
  3. Benefit’s Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer – I would say its better than the Porefessional Primer. It keeps the foundation in place. Also controls the oil from my skin, especially in the humid weather of India. If you have oily skin, then it might be the answer. And I have a oily thing going.
  4. Diorskin Rosy Glow Healthy Glow Booster Blush – It’s a favourite from 2013. I just love how healthy and pretty it makes me feel. Gives a flush of colour like after you had a gym session. And we all know I don’t go to gym so I cheat with this. After application it reacts with your skin and adjusts to tone. I haven’t used anything as beautiful as this. Even though it looks kinda scary at first sight, but its one of my best beauty buys ever.
  5. Nar’s Casino BronzerI used it more as my eyeshadow shade and contour than my bronzer. Even though you shouln’t used bronzer as your contour. But I am a rebel so I did. It’s more of a darker version of the cult favourite Laguna Bronzer. I have used it so much the past year.
  6. Maccosmetic’s Prep n Prime Lip balm Bought it in the middle of the year as I was using a lot of matte lipsticks. I wanted something that would help keep my lips from getting so dehydrated. And this worked as a charm. This is a holy grail product if you are a matte lipstick addict like me. Go ahead and get it and thank me later.
  7. YSL’s TouchéÉclat in No.3 – Umm…..a cult favourite. Winner of so many beauty awards over the years. It corrects and highlights my under eye area. I love the staying power and the colour just makes me look all human again. I don’t think you can go wrong with it.
  8. The Balm’s Mary-Lou Manizer – Later half of the year purchase. I am very skeptical about highlighters on me, but this one brings out my inner Jlo.
  9. Nar’s Loose Setting Powder It’s just like any other setting powder. But for skin tones like mine, setting powders are bit tricky to find as it can look like a white/grey cast on your face. Nobody wants that look. This doesn’t do that. Controls my unnecessary oils and without changing or oxidizing the foundation keeps it looking fresh and skin like.IMG_3612.JPG
  10. Loreal’s Miss Punky Mascara in Mega Black It gives my lashes wings! Not quite literally but you get the gist. If you want thick, long smoky volumious looking eyelashes you might like this one. I would say I was bit skeptical about this one in the beginning as it made my eye lashes clumpy. But after it dried out a bit I would say it got so better. It’s more of a glam up look. I love it.
  11. Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara in Intense Black This one on the other hand was love as first use. This one is not as intense as the above one. But it’s so fluttery and flirty! Makes me feel so feminine. It’s more of a girl next door with pretty big lashes look. I have used up two of these this past year. So that’s saying something.IMG_3575.JPG
  12. Scandaleyes Waterproof Black Kohl – A dupe of the Urban Decay Perversion Eye liner. It’s cheap, drugstore, waterproof, intense black, long lasting. And I don’t know what else you could want from an eye liner. I have gone through so many that I have lost count.
  13. Sleek Eyebrow Pencil in Dark – Dupe alert for Hourglass Arch brow pencil. It’s waxy consistency and the colour match its perfect for my sparse brows. So easy to use. I should have bought it years back. .Sigh…IMG_3569.JPG
  14. Charlotte Tilbury’s Dolce Vita Palette – Oh the sparkles! I don’t think I ever loved a eyeshadow palette as much as this one. It’s so pretty. Highly pigmented and feels so luxurious to use.
  15. Maccosmetic’s paint pot in Indianwood – Indian/ South Asian skin tones can rock one thing for sure and that is gold on their eye lids. This is a perfect one in my opinion after searching for the glistening sun shine on your eyelids look. Yup makes me feel like Jlo.

I hope this blog post gives you some new recommendations for the new year. If you want me to do and indepth review of one of the products do let me know. Also what were your favourites of 2015? Do share!!

See you all in the next post!!

Love and best wishes of 2016! xoxo

First post of 2016!! Wish you all a Very HAPPY NEW YEARS!!

Now back to the blog post!

It’s just Bioderma but it’s freaking awesome!!!

I wanted to do a quick review on it as it has been long overdue. I posted a picture on Instagram recently and a lot of you asked me to share my thoughts about it.FullSizeRender

I got to know about Bioderma about three years ago via Youtube. All nice/expensive things that I have learnt about were mostly from Youtube. I blame them! And not. Three years back in the UK, Bioderma wasn’t easily available in drugstores like now. So I had ordered it on Amazon, paid a hefty price compared to the actual price you get in France. Hated that. But when it arrived, I loved it using the very first time. After using it, I haven’t found anything that takes makeup off so quickly and effectively. Sometimes I have gone to bed without washing my face and my skin didn’t react the next day. And I have semi sensitive combination skin. So I know.

Some points on Bioderma!:

  • Bioderma Sensibio H2O Make-up Removing Micelle Solution.
  • Very gentle at removing makeup.
  • Can be used twice, 7 days a week.
  • It doesn’t strip you of your natural good oils completely making your skin feel soft and supple after using it.
  • Skin feels clean and fresh.
  • Works well on all skin types, though they have different varieties of it.  But I have only used the original version.
  • Drugstore price.
  • Now available in both UK(easily) and India(little difficult, but you can get your hands on these)

How do you use Bioderma?

  • I usually take two cotton pads and soak one of them with it, then press the two together and it distributes the solution evenly. (My Tip on getting bang for your buck)
  • Then press the two cotton pads on your respective eyes and keep it pressed for 30 seconds.
  • Slowly and gently in circular motion with the non-makeup side of the cottons take the rest of your make-up.
  • It comes off easily with no dragging or tugging of the skin.
  • I take another cotton pad with a little bit of it, just to make sure all the makeup is off my face.

Only Con: It stinks my eyes a bit.

Where do you buy Bioderma?

If you live in the UK, you can easily get at your local Boots, or you can always order it online at their website. It retails for 250ml for £10.20.

In India you get it at It retails for 250ml for INR 890 and 100ml for INR 599.

On the other hand, I buy it from In my opinion, this is the cheapest place where I get my hands on these. I pay for two Bioderma of 500ml each for £21.49. This bulk buying lasts me for ages. More than a year and half. Bargain!

Unfortunately, this is only available for anyone who is living in the UK.

Why do you buy Bioderma?

I would say its worth the buy. That’s why I made a post on it.  I have suffered a lot from acne and most of it because of me using makeup removing wipes from the drugstore. More than often I had horrible break outs and had no clue why. Since I have stopped using the wipes so regularly (I still use some during my ultra lazy days) my skin has improved and skin has calmed down. A big chunk of thanks goes to Bioderma. It has helped me a lot. If you are suffering from acne then I would suggest please quit the makeup wipes for sure even if you don’t use Bioderma. But it’s sure is best at what it does. Do try and let me know what you feel about it!

See you, until my next post lovelies!! xx

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil Review (This one is for my hairy gal pals)

This is the travel size. Love it so so much that I need it while I am travelling.

Let’s get real here. If you are Indian/Brown like me then chances of you being hairy is inevitable. This post is solely dedicated to my hairy girlfriends out there. I hear you lovelies. Now if you aren’t hairy(I am super jelly of you) then this post isn’t for you so go choo and check out my some other blog #justkidding.

I would be reviewing this amazing L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil. Its L’Occitane’s bestseller, winner of Beauty Bible Awards and Marie Clarie’s Choice. So lets begin.

How long have I been using it?

It’s been 3 years now that I have been a religious user of the Shower Oil. I use it mainly for shaving and sometimes just for shower.

How do you use it?

If you are a user of shower gels, it’s very similar to that. This is the simple way of using it. But there are other ways you can use it too.

What are the other ways of using it? (My preferred way)

Before you are going to take a shower, you can massage it first, like oil onto your skin and then add water and make it turn into a milky/soapy consistency.
Or if you want to shave which is what I use it for.You would have to wet your body and apply it onto your skin. Then shave with your razor and it will glide like a dream without leaving any residue onto the razor. I dislike those products which leave residue on the razor and make the blade blunt and useless for shaving. This doesn’t do that.

What’s the difference between a shaving cream and this shower oil?

The difference is that this a 3-in-1 product. And for lazy gals its perfect when you forget to buy that shaving cream. It does the job for both. It’s mostly made with natural ingredients (enriched with almond oil) unlike the shaving creams you get to buy in the market full of chemicals. For someone who hates waxing and using shaving creams (which irritates my skin) I love using this product. If shaving creams give that burn/irritation while using it then this one is for you. It gives a luxurious spa like feel than shaving creams. Bonus points for that close shave it gives you just like shaving creams.

How does it smell?

Yes, it has a mild sweet almond smell which isn’t overpowering at all. I quite like it. I am really not good at describing smell. Not my forte. Sorry.

Does it leave the skin dry?

No, it doesn’t. It’s very moisturizing even after using as a shaving agent.
As a person who has an extremely dry body skin this product doesn’t dry out my skin.
I wouldn’t say that I don’t need a body cream after using it. During summers I can get away without using any body lotion, but in winter because of my lizard like skin I require extra TLC.

How long does it last?

The 250 ml lasts for more than 3 months. I shave every other day.

INR (1690) & £16 (UK) for 250ml. It may seem a lot of for a shower oil/gel. But remember, it lasts really long and you don’t need to use a lot each time you shower. It’s also a 3-in-1 product. Its has Almond oil in it and they are expensive. There’s always some kind of offer going on in L’Occitane, which can save you some bucks. So give yourself a little treat and get it. You know you deserve it. And thank me later.

All in all it’s a must have in my shower kit. There’s a 5*****.

Thank you for reading. XX

Autumn or Winter has never been my favourite seasons. I am a July baby so I usually preferred the summer monsoon season that we have in my beloved city Calcutta. But after starting to live in the UK, I saw the beautiful side of Autumn. It’s the transition season. Not quite hot nor truly cold. A/W might be dry, cold and unpredictable, but I do enjoy the make-up looks you can create during this time of the season. In which the dark lips are my favourite. It is a bold and fun way to jazz your look. It’s the season of the vampy-goth-look.

Here are my top favourite A/W lips for you lovelies:

Hopefully I have inspired some of you to try dark lips this season. Remember everything takes its sweet time. Don’t rush and put a dark colour intensely cause that would scare you off. Instead start by dabbing some of the dark lipstick onto your lips, so it isn’t too intense and slowly build on it. And there’s nothing to feel awkward about. Just take baby steps towards it and trust me, you can definately rock Dark Lip like a Parisian.  Good luck. XOXO

It all started two decades back. I remember the first time my grandma bought me this fake toy make-up set, which I even being a toddler loved using it, or as you say it in the make-up world applied it like a ‘serious’ pro. And felt pretty from within. Yeah I was two back then. I am sure like any two year olds I didn’t need any make up, but I had seen my aunt (who is still an make up addict herself) applying it in front of her vanity, thus made this toddler very curious.

As I mentioned my aunt earlier, let me give you a brief there. She’s a classical Bharatnatyam and Kathakali Dancer. So you can understand how much she’s into fashion and make-up. She was my childhood inspiration. I started learning the art of classical dance when I was 3-4 years old……Yes a toddler is made to learn Bharatnatyam if you have a at home Classical Dancer. So I did. I absolutely loved dancing and performing.
And as you do, you also start performing at various places where it is required to be all glamorous and decked up. Thus make up played a significant part in it. Well at least it did in my life. Now being introduced to fun side of make up at such an early age I was never afraid or shy about it. But by saying this, I was never allowed to wear make up outside home, just only during the stage performances and definitely a big no in school.

As I followed into my teenage years, I became shy about make up. Now if you ask me why…I honestly don’t know how to answer or justify it. But at that time I remember none of my friends wore make up and none of them performed either. I guess I just wanted to fit in. That was the time I stopped dancing too cause it made me body cautious. I started having body image issues, as I wasn’t the kid anymore physically that I was mentally. I started to care how people perceived me. I envied those who pulled off certain make up looks. And the days I finally got the courage to try adding a bit more kohl (kajal) to my eyes, my friends would put me down by saying ‘’girls who wear make up are insecure about their looks’’. Well that butchered my confidence with time and my love for makeup for some following years.

When I turned 14, a freshman at high school, mind you still have the same make-up non-lover friends. During that period I met my boyfriend, he then made me feel very comfortable in my own skin and for some weird reason I wanted to look and feel pretty for him. So I started taking baby steps towards make up again. Nothing major just bit more of kohl, which was visible and little bit of stained lip balm. Honestly, at that age no one needs more.
My boyfriend helped me a lot in getting back my self-esteem. Because he never judged and let me be me. Being with him I realised looking and feeling pretty doesn’t mean you are insecure or you want attention from others. It’s just a medium of self-expression. Like doing something fun for yourself, as in self-love. I then realised, it was all along doing it for you than anybody else. Yes it’s true it started again for my boyfriend at that time but it all made sense later.

After finishing school, I went to do UK to do my undergrad. While I was living in London, I met and engaged with people from different backgrounds and cultures and fashion sense and make up sense too. It was a life changing experience. I got to know who I was and who I wanted to be. I stopped being judgemental and started to understand everybody screws up but being afraid of screwing up you shouldn’t stop yourself from experimenting. Gosh this all just became very heavy for a make-up fashion blog.

Well what I wanted to say is make-up too is all about experimenting and sometimes failing. So don’t be afraid. Go out there and buy that really bright fuchsia pink lipstick you always fancied…. mind you it won’t work with every look but for those dull days you can surely dub some of it and look like a million bucks. Do show that beautiful finger of yours to whoever gives you that judgy look for what you are wearing.
So in my twenties, when I look back to those pictures where I wanted to look bad so that I can fit in my group of ‘friends’. I realise how stupid and ignorant I was at that time. Make-up has always been a way self expression and my face was the canvas, where I can create any look I felt that day. There’s simply no more pleasing anybody. So my conclusion is let out your inner Diva. If you fancy that bright red lip then do it, (do mind the your work/school ethics and all) if you fancy glittery shoes then why not!? Just do it (Nike Reference). Life’s too short to be judged by cynical, colourless people.

Life’s Mantra:
You do you and I do me. Thank you very much.
